COVID-19 UPDATE: We’re Still Shippin’ Juice & Supplies 📦
The MOTI PIIN is a brand new disposable vape from MOTI, a company based out of Las Vegas. With a ton of flavors, excellent battery life, and a 24-month shelf-life, is this the best disposable vape on the market?
Like pod vapes before it, disposable vapes are one of the fastest-growing trends in the vape space. It seems as if new models and brands launch every day, so separating the wheat from the chaff can become tricky – especially if you’re new to vaping.
MOTI is not a new brand. In fact, it is one of the brands responsible for the rise of ultra-portable pod vapes, thanks to its MOTI pod which launched a couple of years ago – I review that device here. The original MOTI pod was not a disposable, though; you could refill that device.
The MOTI PIIN is a different ballgame altogether; it’s a disposable vape, you can pick up for less than $8, that is designed for ease of use, making it an ideal choice for those just starting (or thinking about starting) vaping. There are NO moving parts, no setup processes, and no need for juice – you just unbox it and start vaping.
But before we get into the details, we should probably first take a look at the specs for the MOTI PIIN.

An Emphasis on Flavor
One of the biggest issues with disposable vapes is flavor performance – most are wonky at best. For instance, on one pull, you’ll get a nice flavor that is packed full of detail, and then, moments later, it will fall flat on its ass and taste muted and under-powered. This happens because disposable vapes tend to use inferior atomizers that fire inconsistently and this, in turn, makes for poor reliability.
The MOTI PIIN, however, features a specially developed atomizer that is designed to provide the best, most consistent performance on the market, meaning no dry hits, no half-hits, just consistent flavor and draws each and every time you take a drag. It also has a brilliant MTL draw on it too; it feels essentially the same as smoking a cigarette which is great news for those looking at quitting smoking.

What About Battery Life?
Another area where nearly ALL disposable vapes fall short of the mark is battery life – most are only good for 200 puffs at most (that’s about a pack of cigarettes, on average). The MOTI PIIN, however, boasts 380 puffs per unit, way above the average for most disposable vapes (around 200 or thereabouts).
And this means that, depending on your vaping frequency, you should be getting around 2-3 days (possibly more if you’re a light user) from the MOTI PIIN. Again, this is a well above average for disposable vapes; normally, you’re looking at 24 to 48 hours max with moderate to normal usage. If battery life is important to you, a MOTI PIIN could well be your best option in the disposable market right now.
Should You Buy The MOTI PIIN?
Look, disposable vapes aren’t aimed at hardcore vapers. Like the JUUL, they’re aimed squarely at those looking to quickly switch from cigarettes to vaping. And in this narrow context, they work great – I am a huge fan of the ease of use, the simplicity, and the quality of flavors these teeny devices possess.
Not so long ago, disposable vapes were truly awful. It’s only in the last 18 months that things have started to change, and we have pod vapes to thank for that. Nowadays, you have a range of quality options when it comes to disposable vapes. And one of the newest, and it is very good, easily inside the top 1%, is the MOTI PIIN.
My only issue with many disposable vapes (even ultra-potent ones like the EZZY Super Disposable) is that they cost too much money; $13-$15 for a disposable vape is just crazy money. That’s why I really like what I’m seeing with the MOTI PIIN; it retails for less than $8, making it cheaper than nearly every other “premium” disposable vape and, importantly, a pack of cigarettes too!
Bottom line? If you’re looking to quit smoking but are alarmed by how complicated some vape devices look, you’re 100% better off using a device like the MOTI PIIN. It’ll get you accustomed to vaping, help you explore potential flavor options, and, most importantly, it will keep you away from cigarettes and save you money – the MOTI PIIN is 50% cheaper than JUUL.
